I've always been inspired by Old Testament heroes like Joseph, Nehemiah, Esther, Daniel and others like them. They were placed in positions of leadership by divine appointment and used the place that God had given them to minister to the leaders around them.
The sad challenge in our nation is that the church has become known for our protests and petitions rather than as a source of encouragement, hope and blessing to those who have been called to serve our nation in the political arena.
I'm convinced that the love, grace, wisdom and hope of Jesus is a necessary reality in the lives of those who lead our nation. The responsibility of leadership requires a reliance on a Source of Strength that is bigger and greater than we are.
Romans 10:4 asks us "how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? That's the role that Leading Influence Ministries has been called and created to fill. Our heart is to build bridges, reach leaders and make a positive difference in their lives through serving, loving and praying for them, regardless of their political ideology.
