Leading Influence Ministries is a non-sectarian Chaplaincy for those serving in elected office, with a particular focus on those serving provincially in the Legislative Assembly. We are non-partisan, and warmly welcome the men and women of all faiths who serve our communities.
In a sensitive and often high stress environment, we provide a ministry of care, encouragement and counseling. We listen, support, encourage and befriend. We offer spiritual guidance, and foster spiritual understanding and nurturing.
Our private office space is within walking distance of the Parliament Buildings. Confidentiality is assured, allowing the freedom to share the heart of real and personal issues, an important step towards finding solutions.
Tim Schindel is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. He has over 25 years of pastoral experience in a variety of roles. Additionally he has served as a Leadership Coach and Regional Pastor for his church organization. Notably, Tim also served as President of the Kamloops Chamber of Commerce and on the Executive and Board of Directors for a 5 years. He understands the personal challenges associated with public life.
For Members of the BC Legislature
When the Legislature is in session, Tim is in the building immediately before Member Statements and after Question Period. Check the Member’s Gallery or Public Gallery during statements or QP. He can usually be found on the Rotunda level near entrance to the Chamber immediately after Question Period.
